Successful Surrogate Stories: Lisa

My name is Lisa. I applied to become a surrogate mother in 2016. I was matched with my Intended Parents the day after I had applied. My IPs are from China, no children of their own, and wanted to start a family of their own but my Intended Mother could not carry a child herself. I transferred two boy embryos and by almost 3 months pregnant one was no longer there. I went on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy and delivery to my IPs’ firstborn son who will be turning 4 years old in a week. I was asked by my IPs if I would be willing to do a sibling journey and my husband and I happily agreed.

I was asked by the agency if I would like to be a Surrogate coordinator and gladly accepted the position and have been a coordinator for 4 years in August 2020. On my second journey I was pregnant with their daughter who will turn 2 in June. I’ve developed an amazing relationship with this family and my IM sends me pictures and updates weekly. They are an extension of my family. I couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity in my life that has brought so much love and joy.

I just delivered my 3rd surrogate baby in December. A boy to complete a new family. My IPs for this journey who are also from China had two children of their own prior to this baby boy. They had one embryo and he took. I’ve also been able to keep in contact with this family as well. My heart is so full!
